Up Late - Sleep in. Washing, Maps & Journal.
Inigo got home around 14:00 and tried to find a solution for the GPS for several hours, with no success.
Then we headed for San Sebastian by car.
We went for a walk around the coast to "Peine de los Vientos" then sticker shopping. After that it was time for a cana (Cerveza) and Pinoxs (tapa). We stayed out in San Sebastian till around 20:30 then we returned to Eibar and out to his local Bars/Pubs and met some of Inigo's Friends.

Peine de los Vientos |
28 July, Saturday
After a late night, We slept in till around 11:30.
At last, we managed to load maps onto the GPS and headed out, near Bilbao. Tool a walk around the Castle at the sea (as seen in Game of Thrones), Actually a Chapel.
Then back to Eibar, via a great bar with good food and live music.
Then, just for shits and giggles, we stopped off at a defunct Nuclear-power plant. What an eerie place that was.
Then out in Eibar for Cana and food, another late night.

So far, so good |
29 July
Time to get back on the bikes. We went for a ride today Inigo leading most of the way, Through the national park and West. Some extremely beautiful roads. Stopped for lunch along the way and then onto Cadavedo camping. Good pub and great food. Was an easy day and we covered around 500 km.

30 July
Left camp around 09:00, Parted with Inigo once we hit the main road. Was good to be on the move, but sad to say goodbye. We were now heading South and were blasted on the high roads by some big winds. We both recollected our experience from Snaefellsnes and were in no mind repeat that experience. The winds were in no way as dangerous, but still pretty strong. Safely we made our way to Porto. Stopped for a walk around, a few photos and some coffee. Then East again to the Campsite, toca-de-raposa, a former biker camp owned by a Mancunian couple. The camping was good and cheap, the fuel was not.
Burgers and beer for dinner.
On the way, we discovered that some of the Autobahns/Motorways had automatic tolls (instead of toll booths) and we were forced to buy prepaid cards, activate them per SMS, we would have to pick these up on the way out of the Country, fingers crossed.
I think if we'd known about these roads, we would have avoided them.
Back on the Regular toll roads and we discovered that one of the toll gates wouldn't accept our cards, luckily we had some cash on us. But we were concerned that we would now have a problem with our cards. Luckily, no problemo.
31 July
Left camp early, as we'd paid last night.
Direction Inigo. It was Hot and Dry across Spain, 37°+.
We traveled via Salamanca and after an uneventful ride we Arrived at Eibar around 18:00.
Out with Inigo - Pinxos and Cana. Scott has decided to drink less beer as he is always tired. Then we planned our route for the next days.
01 August
Rode South-East, along the Pyrenees on the Spanish side then Stopped for lunch in Ainsa, a very pretty town with a medieval castle that we took time to discover, as we'd made better time than we'd thought and had an hour to kill before lunch.
After lunch We crossed the Pyrenees on the N230 between Pico Aneto and Punta Alta de Comalesbienes, on to Toulouse and returned to the Biker camp - Dordogne.
02 August
We were making our way back to Schwaförden and Samhain's Summer party.
So From the Camp we headed East across France, Direction Germany, Crossed the border at Mulhouse and found a camp North of Freiburg near Tunisee. This camp was quite different to others we had stayed at, Crowded and lots families staying in Cabins and caravans, Not too many in tents.
And we had a grumpy german neighbour.
But it was good being back in Germany with the Autobahns. It felt good to ride at a reasonable speed again.
And just for a laugh, I thought I'd see how fast these old girls could go. My GPS told me it was around 189km/h, Scott's 191km/h. Fast enough for us.
