Wandering Sebastabator
Well, my boss called this morning.
Looks like I'll be back at Sankt Gertrauden Krankenhaus
http://www.sankt-gertrauden.de/sgk-homepage/ebenen/willkommen.html
as of the 1st.
I'll be working on the Intensive Care Unit, Either the 35 Surgical, or the 05 Medical and Emergency. Either way, I spent 6 weeks there earlier this year and have no problem going there again. Will be good to have a change and it's probably better, considering that I'm seeing Sabrina now.
For those of you who don't know. I've Started seeing Sabrina (check out the photos). She's 22, just graduated from her nursing course and has just started in the ICU in St Joseph (She took my position) She enjoys riding motorcycles and has just put hers away for the winter :-(
She shall be joining me in Australia when I come over. I think we'll fly over in January some time. Hopefully she'll be able to stay a whole year...we'll see
She understands quite a lot of English but doesn't trust herself to speak it in front of me. When we get to Australia we'll have to enrole her in a course.
That's about it for now.

Wandering Sebastabator
Welcome to Friday...
Well, Looks like I'll be returning to Australia sooner than I thought.
I've been recently talking with Oxley Nursing Service about jobs in and around Brisbane in the early part of next year. "Expectations are high"
Why the change...
1. I will earn, in Australia, atleast double what I am here in Berlin.
2. nearly 6 years here and "I still haven't found what I'm looking for"
3. ...well you guessed it... And if you didn't then just ask me
It's also my last shift today at "Sankt Joseph Krankenhaus" I've been working there, almost continuously, since the middle of last November. They can't afford me anymore (or don't want to). I guess I'm a bit sad that I'm leaving but then again for various reasons, it's probably better in the long-run.

Strange day!!!
Went shopping and ended up giving some little old Grandma advice on saucepans. Well, it was a pot really. Apparently she has the same problem I do. Not coming to grips with the new stove-top and burning stuff. So I got my new pot and, bugger-me, still burnt the chilli :-(
managed to save it though, had a great meal.
Today's my day off, hence the shopping. I was gonna go for a bit of a ride (200 kms or so) but have decided to put it off till the weekend. Although, the weather today was perfect, for this time of year. Blue skies, sunny, not too cold. I only hope it stays that way for a while. One of the girls at work is going to accompany me for the ride, she's got some Jap. bike.
Anyway, today's Tuesday, that means "sneak preview" at the local cinema (kino). Don't know what it'll be, lucky dip. The last was "The world's fastest Indian" can't remember the German title (something stupid like "von sand und hand")
The blond hair (orange actually) has almost had it's day. Despite common mis-conceptions, Blonds don't actually have more fun. Although I did go out on the weekend, and yes karroake was involved.
Red will be the new color, Feuer Rot. Hope it matches my bike :-)
gotta get ready for the cinema.

Wandering SebastabatorWelcome to Friday the13th
I only got up an hour ago and already it's happened
"Bad hair day"
Although, when I think about it, it's no worse than yesterday :-) Tried to go blond, but I always forget...there's too much red in my hair so I end up with a kind-of orange.
Maybe when I get paid I'll go RED. I'm thinking a fire-truck red. Like Lola!!!
Speaking of Lola. I was watching Lola Rennt (Run, Lola, Run) the other day and realised it was shot in Berlin, lo and behold, I recognise some of the places it was shot. Strange...I'm really getting to know Berlin. Great city. Small but at the same time big. Hard to describe.
Anyway, I've gotta get myself ready for work. Another day, another Late shift. At least I've got a routine.

Bugger...lost the blog.
http://www.sfh.med.sa/English/Historical_inf.htm
Seems that this is the hospital to which I have applied for a nursing position.
Riyadh, not a bad place if you like the heat, which I do :-)
Hey, for between 3K and 4K (US) per month I could live almost anywhere.
Was talking to a copper on our ward yesterday and he put in in a nutshell "doesn't matter where you live, without money it's no fun." was basically what he said.
Have today off, Saturday, but tomorrow Early (4am wake-up) grrr!!!
